A trailblazer in accounting, finance, and auditing since earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University in 1972. Renowned for her innovative problem-solving skills, she has consistently delivered high-quality services to her clients throughout her career. Her commitment to professional excellence led her to enroll in the Master in Taxation program at Villanova University, which she completed in 2024, along with a Certificate in Estate Planning.
Ms. Deyon-Sallier’s extensive career highlights include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Music World Entertainment, a multimillion-dollar, international entertainment conglomerate. In this role, she was responsible for the financial integrity of the company, managing timely and accurate financial records, overseeing cash management, and implementing cost containment strategies. Additionally, she served as a business manager for entertainment artists, producers, and other industry professionals.
Her leadership skills were also demonstrated during her tenure as Director of Finance and Accounting at the University of Houston, where she managed accounting and finance functions for the campus and served as a liaison with the University of Houston System. Furthermore, she established and directed the Internal Audit department at Texas Southern University, which was recognized as one of the best in the State of Texas within two years of its inception.
Ms. Deyon-Sallier began her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and Co., gaining valuable experience in auditing and advisory services. Her diverse expertise extends to the banking industry, home health care agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
An active participant in the nonprofit sector, Ms. Deyon-Sallier serves in various capacities as a member, board director, or mentor for several organizations. Her dedication to giving back to the community reflects her deep commitment to making a positive impact.
Today, Ms. Deyon-Sallier provides services for both for-profit and nonprofit entities. Her services include ensuring compliance with current tax requirements, enhancing audit readiness, strengthening accounting infrastructure, and providing effective estate planning solutions. Her expertise in estate planning includes assisting clients with proper tax filings and strategies for wealth preservation.
